US Power Generating Company Is Now EasternGen


NEW YORK, N.Y. US Power Generating Company, LLC (USPG) today announced that as part of the December deal between ArcLight Capital Partners, LLC (“Arclight”) and Tenaska Capital Management LLC (“Tenaska”), USPG is now Eastern Generation, LLC.

In December, ArcLight announced that Eastern Generation, LLC (“EasternGen”), a newly formed portfolio company controlled by ArcLight Energy Partners Fund VI, L.P., completed a transaction with affiliates of Tenaska, whereby EasternGen acquired a natural gas and dual-fuel fired portfolio consisting of seven power generation plants totaling 4,895 MW, including the three facilities operated by USPG. USPG website and email have transitioned to EasternGen.
